A source said, ?Beyonce is about three months along and is due in February. She and Jay are absolutely over-joyed?her whole family is really excited.?
The source added that the couple is hoping for a boy, so that her six-year-old nephew Daniel Julez Smith could have someone to play with. The source said, ?Of course having a little boy for Julez to play with would be ideal, so they have their fingers crossed. But both Beyonce and Jay are just so happy to be having a baby, they don?t care what it is!?

According to MTV News, after performing ?Love On Top? at the VMA?s on Sunday night (August 29th) ? where she playfully opened her jacket, revealing her pregnant belly, she was greeted backstage by her team and friends. She said to them, ?I?m free! We?re all free!? ? indicating that she and Jay are thrilled to not have to keep such a big secret any longer.
After a few minutes backstage, she was joined by Jay-Z and Kanye West, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
- According to USWeekly, a friend said, ?She wasn?t going to announce it but she is so excited she couldn?t hold it in.? The source added, ?Jay is ecstatic and over the moon. He really wanted this so badly.?
